From Oristano: bike tour in the Sinis Peninsula

With this mountain bike excursion, you will cycle through the wonders of the Sinis Peninsula, a beautiful area of central-western Sardinia. A route through green hills, cultivated fields, olive groves and vineyards. You will savour the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, departing from the village of San Salvatore, on a tour that will allow you to admire the entire Gulf of Oristano, passing by some extraordinarily beautiful viewpoints. There will be several stops, the first at a beach with quartz-coloured sand, and then into the densely wooded Oasis of Seu. Coastal towers will also be seen, making for a day that will leave you wanting for nothing in terms of scenery. Cycling, fun, nature in the company of experienced local guides. What more could you ask for?

On the central-western coast of Sardinia lies the Sinis Peninsula, an unspoiled paradise recognized as an "Eden" destination of excellence by the European Commission. This natural gem offers a stunning backdrop for year-round outdoor activities, from hiking to birdwatching. To explore the rich prehistory and history of the Sinis, head to its southern tip at Tharros, an ancient site that evolved from a Nuragic village to a Phoenician colony, a Carthaginian port, a Roman city, and the first capital of the Judicate of Arborea.
