Visit the ruins of Herculaneum with an archaeologist In our three-hour tour of Herculaneum we'll visit together all the highlights of the ancient site, such as House of the Wooden Partition, House of Neptune and Amphitrite, the Forum, the Public Baths, etc.

But the particular interest of our visit will be all wooden parts (frameworks, beams, doors, stairs and partitions) that were preserved by a hard shell of solidified mud, whereas at Pompeii they were burnt by fire.

Herculaneum ruins are considered better preserved than Pompeii with its streets, shops and frescoed houses, but it is unjustly less famous than the bigger Pompeii
